How do I enter for the MVPA Awards?
You have to enter your video, special project, individual or company into the UK Music Video Awards to qualify for the MVPA Awards. All qualifying entries will automatically be entered into the MVPA Awards, which means you get entry into two Awards for the price of one.

What does it cost to enter?
Each entry in each category costs
GB £75 (approx. US $93).

Why is my entry fee charged in GB£? The MVPA Awards is being hosted on the same platform as the UKMVAs, based in London, and so the entry fee is in Pounds Sterling. Effectively, you are paying for a UKMVA entry and receiving your MVPA entry free of charge in addition.

I have a question about my entry. Who do I contact?
Contact the UKMVA team and they will help you with your entry.

Where do I enter?
Entries must be made via the UKMVA website at www.ukmva.com. Select the category or categories which you would like to enter your video into, enter your details and pay for your entry. You will be sent a confirmation email with a link where you can upload your video. The UKMVA team will then duplicate your entry into the MVPA Awards.

Can I enter more than one category?
Yes, you can enter as many categories as you like, but you will have to pay for each separate entry into each category. A video can only be entered into a single music genre category – Pop, R&B/Soul, Dance/Electronic, Rock, Alternative, Hip Hop/Grime/Rap. If you are not sure about the correct genre for your video, please contact the UKMVA team

What is the qualification criteria?
Any video entered into either the UKMVA or MVPA Awards must have been completed and delivered between 1st August 2019 and 31st July 2020. Videos entered in support of an Individual or Company nomination must also have been delivered within that period.

What happens if my video hasn’t been released yet?
If the video has not been released, you must have permission from the commissioner, label or artist for the video to be entered. It will be viewed by the Jury via our secure, password-protected judging platform and will not be accessible via the public.

When is the entry deadline?
All entries must be received, and videos uploaded to the website, by the end of 3rd August 2020.

When do I upload my video?
When you have selected your category, completed the entry details and your contact details, you will be directed to Paypal to make payment. Once you have paid, you will be sent a confirmation email with a link where you can upload your video.

What sort of video file do I need to upload?
Uploads should be mp4s no bigger than 1GB in size.

I’m having trouble using Paypal, what should I do?
